Well, need I say more! Off to North Carolina to sit in the sun and read by the lake! I will have very limited internet access-- which is a good thing for me. Because if it is available then I tend to check my shops and messages way to much. We return next Wednesday June 3rd!

Sorry for the delay in getting these up on my blog, my daughter Kenley took them with her camera so I had to get her to download then email to me lol.

It was great fun and so wonderful to finally met my fellow local Etsians!

Although it was slow I was very glad to have participated. I put no expectations on it so that always makes for a positive outcome. We hope to do another one this Fall, and like everything you learn a lot and know how to make improvements :)

With Summer right around the corner, my Etsy shop always experiences a huge slow down. To me this is all expected and natural since the lazy days of Summer are meant for outdoor pleasures.

For me it is a time to explore all of those new designs I have in the back of my head. To experiment with new fabrics and try to find new fabrics while on vacation.

CLEARANCE CLEARANCE-Just because!

I am tired of looking at many of these fabrics. So a few items are now in my just created clearance/sale section.

Here are just a few pics of some of the clearance items!

Currently I am in the process of buying many new fabrics, many from Japan and new ones from the local shops. We are heading on one of our two trips this summer, we leave at the end of next week. So I will be heading to a few new fabrics shops, they always provide a great source of hard to find or special purchase fabrics.

The first trip is to a lake we love over in North Carolina and the second is out to Sedona Arizona. Today is our 20th Wedding Anniversary, we got married in Sedona- WOW 20 years already. So we felt it was time to take Kiera and Kenley to the beautiful place where their parents got married. That trip will be just wonderful! I have not been back to Az in many years, it is where I grew up after all- so a trip is long overdue.
