Functional New Design!

So everyone has some sort of small gadget right? Iphone, Blackberry, Ipod, Itouch etc etc etc. But also most young people- college age specifically need to have their campus access card with them at all times- get into their dorms, eat lunch, check out books etc etc etc. Thus, my newest design. Fits on your belt, backpack, tote or handbag. Of course these are not just for college age girls, these are great for any woman who wants the convenience of having easy access too! Well, we had a wonderful trip out West to visit family. I wanted to really enjoy my vacation and try to relax since I knew I was coming home to 16 custom orders!!!


I have now started on them and all my customers have been so wonderful and patient. I also wanted to make myself my latest back pocket click it wallet. I love this Aqua Fresh fabric so I made another for my shop.

Another wonderful part of my trip was stopping in at Hancocks of Paducah for some wonderful additions to my fabrics. I had my daughter take pictures so that will be in the next post!!!

I have gone a little fabric crazy!

Here is another of my newest fabrics!!! Just love it and it is now in my shop! Blue Urban Botanical. Just makes me want to get out and start my spring garden!

I have so many new fabrics that I have trouble deciding what to make and which ones to do first!! So please check back often!

Today is my Birthday!!!

I will not state my age! But I look 20 years old and act 15 years old. LOL

Here is a pic of my Birthday cake- I know not traditional is it? But I am not a very traditional person either, so it fits me just fine. Very yummy too! SMILES :)

Very quick- A wake up call!!!!

This is a very quick little note since I have a wonderful custom order that I must finish today. I will just bring up the subject of my tireless promoting. I have made a very difficult decision to just stop it for awhile. I will go back to my original mission when I started on Etsy. Create, list and come what may. Promoting can be fun but also very draining. I will not get caught up in it anymore. To be honeset I just need a break from it. I will focus my energies back into what I love - sewing and creating my items. So with that said maybe I will be able to blog more... but maybe not!!! LOL

Three Harmony

I am currently into these three piece wristlets I have designed. I have only done a few and this is my latest one from the Harmony design line. I have just purchased yet another set of new fabrics so I am sure I will be making more of this style. They are fun to create. Sure they do take much more time but the results are worth it. This one is especially nice for fall!!!!

Purse Wallet

I made this wallet to meet all a womens needs. It really does have it all. Zipper pouch for cash, credit card slots, 2 extra pockets inside, and three on the outside for cell phone or ipod. Went a little crazy at the quilters store

My local quilters shop had a 50% off sale yesterday. Well, I did stay within my budget but I still probably bought to much. I was in line when the doors opened and many of the fellow shoppers were actually buying whole bolts. So I kinda realized I needed to make my decisions fast. I think I did pretty well. You will see many of the fabrics in my Etsy shop in the coming month. Here is one that I finished right away. It is a totally new style for me. I just fell in love with the fabric. When I walked into the shop, I saw it and walked right over to it. I knew I had to have some of this gorgeous print. Please let me know in comments what you really think because it is so out there lol !!!!
